Over 50 years of growing minds
Holy Trinity Catholic Church was established in 1967. The school was built as an infants school in 1970 to serve San Isidore, Kapooka and Ashmont.
Holy Trinity became a K-6 primary school in 1978, as the Western Suburbs of Wagga expanded to now include areas such as Glenfield and Lloyd
In 2006, the school adopted the name Holy Trinity West Wagga.
Our Covered Learning Area (COLA) was constructed between 2007/08, along with our multi-purpose hall.
In 2017, the upgrade of all infant rooms was completed. From then, the original 3-6 classrooms were demolished and the new primary classrooms were completed in mid-2021. The staffroom and administration block were also renovated during this time.
Holy Trinity is now a contemporary two-stream school, accommodating approximately 250 students from all areas of Wagga and surrounds.
We continue to plan for improvement, including additional shade areas, the re-establishment of a reconciliation garden and further development of play areas.
The four house groups of Holy Trinity
Burgess House: Named after Fr Burgess who was the longest-serving Priest of the West Wagga Parish. Its motto is ‘Care and Compassion’.
Gindaymanha House: Acknowledging the traditional custodians of our land, the name means: ‘Fun and Play’ in Wiradjuri.
Sheridan House: Mrs Pat Sheridan taught at Holy Trinity for many years, valuing ‘Lifelong Learning’.
Kelso House: Mrs Beverly Kelso was the first principal of Holy Trinity, instilling the values of ‘Respect and Responsibility’.
Our role in the region
